First Day of Snow

We went to bed last night with just about an inch of snow already on the ground, only to find another 3 or 4 piled on top of it this morning. What a wonderful sight. The snow is late this year by almost a month and everyone has been waiting for it. It’s the holiday time of year and snow makes it feel so much better.

The kids were very excited this morning. Couldn’t hardly contain Andrew. He just wanted to go out and play. Too  bad I won’t be there when he gets home tonight to hit him with a snowball.

I set out with a mission this morning, to catch a few shots of the first day of snow here in North Idaho. Here’s what I came up with. Wish I had more time to get out at lunch, but I still have to work for a living.

My drive to work at 5 mi/hr.

Hopefully more winter days to come with more pictures. Just getting warmed up.
