Wow, thank goodness it’s Friday. What a long week. The time between now and Christmas is getting shorter and I’m starting to feel the pressure. I got one of the prints I had made back today. Man, does that make me want a bigger printer.
Here’s today’s pic.

I stopped by a local print shop today to see about getting some larger prints made of some of my images and to test them out for printing of client work. Talk about small town business. They came recommended by a coworker, so we’ll see how they do. Nice thing is they sound like they’ll be fast, normally turning them over the next day. I’ll let you know how they come out. I’ve really wanted to print some of my shots large. I can’t wait to see the tests.
Still not making any progress on my Christmas shopping. Seems really tough this year. That’s not a good thing. Maybe I’ll get some done this weekend so I’ll have something to put under the tree.
Anyway, here’s my shot for day 6. I’m not the proudest of this one, but it turned out OK. Have some good ideas in my head, just need to get them into the camera.

Enjoy.

Wow, did Flickr go nuts yesterday with my pic. Crazy stuff.
Another day at work today. Got another photo gig taking some family pictures for a coworker. Helped him decide against the painful experience of going to Sears for them. I’ll post some shots when we get them done this weekend.
I kind of like this photo business thing. Just need to start hiding the money from the misses so I can save up for that new lens and flash and tripod and studio lights and…. Oh, I’m rambling again, aren’t I?
Here’s my shot for the day.

Another day on the photography wagon. I’m really finding lots of joy in this. It’s really fun to come up with new pictures to take. Last night I learned that I point the camera at the kids way too much as they seem to know just what to do. I first grabbed my daughter for the shot and my son was doing some chores and said he wanted his picture taken. Amazing!! Normally he’s running away from the camera, but last night he wanted part of the action. He’s not normally as photogenic as my daughter, but he had some shots come out last night. What’s even better is that he tells me what I’m doing wrong with my camera. I had an umbrella set up to take these shots and my flash wasn’t pointed into the umbrella quite right. Before I was able to take the shot he said, “Dad, your flash isn’t set right, you’re missing the umbrella.” Kids, got to love them.
Here’s my shot for Day 4
