First nice day we’ve had for weather this year in North Idaho, so we took advantage of it. Did some last minute cleaning around the house in preparation for Easter dinner and then hit a local state park to do some Geocaching. After dinner we took to the front yard and circled the family around the fire pit. It’s a summer time tradition for our family, we often spend 3-5 evenings gathered around it when the weather is nice. Tonight was the kickoff for the year and what a great night it was.
The recap (not much in terms of Scouting):
- Received a Blue Card in the mail from a Scout that had finished up his Geocaching Merit Badge. I signed it that night and put it in an envelope and ready for the mail on Monday.
- Swapped pictures with ScouterAdam as he was sitting around his campfire with his family. Great to see we all share the same pleasures in life.
That’s it.
