Wow, did Flickr go nuts yesterday with my pic. Crazy stuff.
Another day at work today. Got another photo gig taking some family pictures for a coworker. Helped him decide against the painful experience of going to Sears for them. I’ll post some shots when we get them done this weekend.
I kind of like this photo business thing. Just need to start hiding the money from the misses so I can save up for that new lens and flash and tripod and studio lights and…. Oh, I’m rambling again, aren’t I?
Here’s my shot for the day.

Check out my others and more stuff on Flickr.

Another day on the photography wagon. I’m really finding lots of joy in this. It’s really fun to come up with new pictures to take. Last night I learned that I point the camera at the kids way too much as they seem to know just what to do. I first grabbed my daughter for the shot and my son was doing some chores and said he wanted his picture taken. Amazing!! Normally he’s running away from the camera, but last night he wanted part of the action. He’s not normally as photogenic as my daughter, but he had some shots come out last night. What’s even better is that he tells me what I’m doing wrong with my camera. I had an umbrella set up to take these shots and my flash wasn’t pointed into the umbrella quite right. Before I was able to take the shot he said, “Dad, your flash isn’t set right, you’re missing the umbrella.” Kids, got to love them.
Here’s my shot for Day 4

I made it another day. Yay!!!
Here’s the pic for today. A giant snowman we built yesterday that today sits in ruins. In true North Idaho fashion, we get lots of snow, then rain. Our snowman is now a pile of slush and I’m sure the dog has already eaten his carrot nose.

You can see all of my 25 days on Flickr.
Remember, you only have 21 more shopping days to buy me all the camera gear I want before Christmas.

We woke up to 6 inches of brand new snow this morning. We went outside after breakfast and played in the snow. We now have a 7 foot tall snowman in the front yard. We then ran out for a bit and on the way home I got a craving for sugar cookies. Here’s a shot of the holiday goodness. Enjoy.
